Our platform was built to empower conscious consumers and authentic green sellers by creating a marketplace where sustainability credentials are verified, not just advertised. We use artificial intelligence to analyze product data and provide objective Green Scores that help buyers make informed decisions.
We recognize that sustainability is a journey, not a destination. Our goal is not to judge, but to educate, encourage improvement, and celebrate genuine efforts to reduce environmental harm.
How AI Verification Works
Our AI-powered Green Score system analyzes multiple data points to assess the environmental impact of each product listed on our platform.
Materials Analysis
We evaluate the raw materials used in production, including their renewability, biodegradability, and recyclability. Products using organic, recycled, or sustainably sourced materials receive higher scores.
Manufacturing & Sourcing
Our AI cross-references manufacturing countries and processes against ethical labor databases and carbon emission benchmarks. Local production and fair trade certifications positively influence scores.
Packaging & Lifecycle
We assess packaging materials, product longevity, and end-of-life options. Products designed for reuse, easy repair, or complete biodegradation are prioritized.
Carbon Impact Estimation
Using industry data and AI modeling, we estimate the carbon footprint associated with production, transportation, and disposal. Lower carbon products receive better scores.
Important: Our AI scores are estimates based on seller-provided data and industry benchmarks. While we strive for accuracy, these scores should be viewed as guidance rather than absolute truth. We encourage sellers to upload third-party certifications for added credibility.
What We Do Not Allow
Greenwashing erodes consumer trust and undermines genuine sustainability efforts. We have a zero-tolerance policy for misleading environmental claims.
Unsubstantiated Claims
Claims such as "100% eco-friendly" or "carbon neutral" without supporting documentation, certifications, or transparent data.
False Certifications
Displaying fake or expired sustainability certifications, or using logos without proper authorization.
Misleading Imagery
Using nature-focused imagery or green color schemes to imply environmental benefits that do not exist.
Hidden Trade-Offs
Highlighting one green attribute while concealing significant environmental harm elsewhere in the product lifecycle.
Data Manipulation
Intentionally providing false information about materials, manufacturing processes, or sourcing to inflate Green Scores.
If a product is flagged for potential greenwashing, we conduct a manual review and may request additional documentation. Repeat violations result in removal from the platform.

AI Scores Are Estimates
Our Green Scores are generated by AI based on available data and industry benchmarks. They are not independently verified by third-party auditors unless explicitly stated.
Seller-Provided Data
Most product information comes directly from sellers. While we have systems to detect inconsistencies, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of all claims.
Continuous Improvement
Our AI models are constantly being refined. Scores may change over time as we improve our algorithms and incorporate new data sources.
Not a Replacement for Certifications
Our Green Scores complement, but do not replace, official sustainability certifications like Fair Trade, B Corp, or Cradle to Cradle. We encourage sellers to pursue these certifications.
